The year was 2008. A new President was elected under the auspices of “Hope & Change”. Americans, with some help from ACORN bussing people to the polls, bought it hook, line and sinker. High hopes were placed on this President to make all things right (really left), and deliver us from the evil conservative agenda.
The President was impressed with his new digs in the White House, but jetted off here and there, carting his multitude of teleprompters, making numerous speeches. Foremost, it was important to apologize to the world for all the naughty things America had done since conception, which is still under debate…does life of a Country begin at conception, or several months later???? In addition to world travel, he has managed to spend more money than we have zeros, and it’s so easy to spend other people’s money. He placed Carbon Monoxide on the ten most wanted list…out to destroy! Energy sources producing carbon monoxide were to be heavily taxed, so Congress encouraged everyone to invest in “Snuggies” for the winter. Do not be caught striking a match, as this too, will contribute to global warming, and exhaling was limited to once every other breath.
Health care for everyone was the President’s main concern. Three hundred million plus had adequate care, but approximately 12% had none. Of course, many of whom were illegal, entered our Country with no regard to our laws. Abortions should be part of the plan, they said, although millions consider it murder, but, what the heck… population needs to be controlled anyway. Every day he pushed his agenda hard, but no debate would he accept…it’s my way or the high way.
It passed, but just by a squeak…all the Libs were overwhelmed with joy at such a sweet victory! Health care for ALL! It was proclaimed far and wide, America will take care of you! They arrived from all over, and babies were born galore…because only in America, you were a citizen if born on this land. No matter of origin your Mom or Dad…illegal, no matter, now you were entitled to all America had to offer…and best of all, someone else paid for it! They kept coming, and coming…until one day, it was declared…some of you need to die…there are too many of you, you’re living too long! For those who remembered the slogan “Hope & Change”…they longed for a time when they should have said, “Now exactly what does that mean?” America…there was no more.
