Money is gone in a week for clunkers! WOW! Another bailout! Mr. President, I need new windows...can I trade in my old energy inefficient ones for new ones...and my wardrobe is looking pretty shabby. Since I'll be setting my thermostat on 50 degrees this winter...will you buy me Sunggies, since I'll be freezing 24/7?? Come on... retail needs help too!
WHERE DOES IT STOP???? HOW could you pass up such a good deal on a car...even if you can't afford one, when the Government is going to entice you with up to $4500???? Just run right out and buy one...worry about paying for it later...chances are the American people will end up picking up the tab later. It just amazes me to see our Government twisting arms to buy vehicles, with Government money we don't have!
THE BOTTOM LINE...WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS DEBACLE??? YOU ARE! WE ALL ARE!
Take this opportunity to demand Congress to focus on fiscal conservatism...spend less, clean up fraud, get rid of inefficient programs! Tell your representative to embark on real health reform, not a Government take over. Examine the REASONS insurance is so expensive...those issues have been ignored because Congress doesn't want to tick off trial lawyers! Put the hard questions to your Representative, and don't let them side step the question!
