Why do our Representatives vote for programs that will affect the average American directly in their pocketbook? They are extremely "out of touch" because so many are independently wealthy! Do your homework, and see how your own Representative ranks in wealth. Can they possibly be affected by their own voting when they are protected by millions?
Wake up America! Why do Congress members work so hard to keep their Washington, D.C. jobs? They jet back and forth from home states to D.C., they have luxurious leased ( taxpayer paid) vehicles they drive, and they have opportunity to make lots of money, beyond their salary...I'll leave it at that.
Wealthy Congressman could care less about you in urban, suburban, or rural America! They are in this for the power and control. There own constituents scream they don't want Government Health Care, BUT our wealthy Congress knows what is best for you! They are insulated by their own actions because they have lots of money in their coffers, no matter what the cost to every American.
The S-Chip was expanded by President Obama, and a 62 cent per package was placed on ciggerates to pay for this. Do you think that additional tax effected President Obama smoking???? Do you think he can no longer afford to smoke??? I do not believe the Government has the right to tax something they as "preceive" as unhealthy! What about alcohol? Will they tax french fries, chips, or cookies next? Give Congress your healthcare, and you give them your life to DICTATE! This tax affected people making under $200,000, and he promised not to do that!
Congress has wonderful health care that will no way compare to what they will impose on you. Real working Americans would never impose the burden on other Americans that these wealthy Representatives will. IF your Congressman is in Washington as a "hobby"...remove then ASAP! Ask them how they will vote for Healthcare, and let that be your answer!! Check out your Congress Representatives, and see if they have your best interest at heart, or are they just enjoying the recognition and power?
